Modern Pain Management Techniques

Pain is a big problem in our society, is in fact estimated that at any given time, about one third of the population are in pain. The pain of any kind is the most common reason for consulting physicians. It is an important symptom in many diseases, affecting the quality of life and overall functioning.

Management is thus a very important element of health care because people are forced to continue living in extreme pain often become depressed and ill-treatment results.
Some types of pain are not completely with the third highest number of cases of unknown origin to understand.

Here are some things we know about the pain:

* It is common for about 20% of the population.
* Back pain is the pain of the most common.
* Most patients had chronic pain for at least three years.
* As you might expect, the incidence increases with age.
* Women report more pain than men.
* Only 70% of those affected seek professional help.
